How can we improve Huel? (both product and service)

I don’t know if it makes sense in a free with bag purchase, but definitely as an add-on option.

Something that would be nice is putting everything into a single subscription.

I know I’d like to mix and match a bit between Huel Black and Huel Original, but the way the bulk discounts work doesn’t encourage that, so it makes me less likely to do that.

I was eating some yellow curry Huel the other day it reminded me much of hot breakfast cereal that I ate as a kid. Maybe a breakfast hot and savory flavor?

Been suggesting this for a while
Scrambled eggs n sausage
Pancakes and fruit
Orange juice n grits
Granola/oatmeal

All those things are already pretty easy to do yourself.

Grits with a mix of pea protein, etc. could be a good idea to get the balance right. They already have the mac n cheeze H&S, so…that might be something that could be do-able from Huel’s standpoints. A breakfast H&S of cheesy grits with chile (Jalapeno, Green chile, etc) would be something I would seriously consider.

Please stop using FedEx in the United States, for the love of God. They always miss their projected delivery dates; aside from being annoying while tracking, makes it difficult to project when I’ll actually receive a resupply.

Pleas stop using UPS Surepost
My last two orders have been a disaster.

I’m inspired by your results, thank you for sharing that! Any idea why your liver enzymes were so high? Do you know which non-vegan foods were contributing to the problem?
I’m a vegan, but also have had a problem with high liver enzymes for 4 years now. I’ll try upping my Huel intake for a while and see what happens to those ALTs and ASTs

The powder is great for shakes. The H&S is more like real food. The rtd is nice. What about something a step up from the powder? Kind of like chia seeds that take on liquid and produce a kind of pudding… powder when mixed takes on a texture like porridge. Congeals a bit into a semi-flaky material. You are chewing something and can use a bowl instead of a shaker bottle. And a spoon. You could top it with fruit, etc. just an idea.

I’d liove to see an H&s savory breakfast product. Something that turns out something like a scramble. I like the cold powder products fine but am a bigger fan of H&s, ‘cause they’re hot and are more like food that a sweet shake. Scramble-style H&S for the win.

Oh, and use ground flax seed in the H&S products that include flax. Whole seeds won’t get digested for their benefits making them a waste.

There’s a couple of flavors in each variety pack of the “Ready to Drink” that I really like, but a couple that I don’t really care for. Why can’t we mix and max a 12-pack? Will that ever be an option? …or could you just get rid of the Banana and Vanilla?

*Packaging Request

I signed up so that I could add my comment.

I would like to see a rigid Huel container. I know it might sounds silly, but the bags kind of annoy me. When I first started experimenting with Meal replacement shakes (I know, its a meal, not a meal replacement  ) I started with Soylent and I really appreciated their cylinder-shaped rigid container. The bag just doesn’t have the same shelf appeal. I would love to proudly display my Huel containers on my desk, but for now they are stashed away in my drawer. Just a thought.

Price is #1. I don’t mind but it’s hard to convince others to experiment with a $100 order.

My two cents - packaging that is easier to re-seal would be WONDERFUL. The only other suggestion I have would be to please focus on keeping items you’re selling in stock.  my Huel!

I love Huel hot and savory and have been actively promoting it to friends!

  1. Please provide a way to be notified when my products are back in stock. I’m anxious to reorder the Mac & Cheeze!

  2. Offer a sampler of all the varieties to purchase. This would be very helpful.

Thank You!

Hey Dom, we hear you loud and clear. Sounds like you’ve been having some problems with your order and we’re really sorry for this. I know that the CX team will do their absolute best to sort this out for you.

While we welcome feedback, the forum isn’t the place to raise customer experience issues. Especially ones which are hyper specific to your situation. The purpose of the forum is to have great conversations and polite debate about Huel topics.

Hope that makes sense, please do continue to chat to the CX team and they’ll sort this out for you

Yes, can I third this Huel? I find myself spicing up the currys anyway. I would definitely order plain pasta/ rice hot and savory and add my own flavors. Also oatmeal hot and savory for breakfast. I use these as very easy meals, pour hot water and wait and instant oatmeal w/o the sugar i would def pay for

I’m sure y’all have heard this before, but yeah - I want to second this: zippers on the Huel powder bags easy-to-seal. Some bags have been a DREAM to re-seal. Others have been a nightmare. I’ll gladly pay an extra dollar per bag for a better zipper on the powder bags.

I got something called Gripstic because I couldn’t trust the seals on the bags. I found the green one for large bags work best, though sometimes the labels on the Huel black (which are paste on labels) are a nuisance, I’ve had no real problems. Maybe Huel can offer something like that in the first shipment instead of a t-shirt (though my mom loves the last t-shirt Huel sent me).

I wear a robe in the morning and always get powder on a sleeve reaching in for two scoops. What about an optional container you can pre-fill with powder, and you can turn it upside down, turn a dial for 1-4 scoops, press something and it dispenses? I would pay up to $40 for such a thing.
