Sucralose in White but not Black?

Why does Huel Black not have this but White does (except for unflavored/unsweetened)?

I’ve had a high fiber diet for nearly two decades (whole food plant based mostly) and after several months my bowel movements are mostly liquid unless I drink the UU, any other flavor with Sucralose I have these problems.

It would be nice if you used coconut sugar. The best I can do with UU is add frozen berries and cinnamon and blend with oat milk which isn’t bad, but all these flavors without sucralose, if possible to produce, sounds ideal

Hey there!

I’m sorry to hear that the white edition Huel Powder doesn’t agree with you! If you need to make a return or exchange, please reach out to support@huel.com and we’ll be happy to help!

We use sucralose as it’s 600 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar), which allows us to use a very small amount. This allows us to provide a product that has 1g or less of added sugar. Not everyone is seeking such miniscule amount of added sugar, and are happy opting for a product that is sweetened with coconut sugar (alongside stevia), which is why we offer the Black Edition as well!

Because the Black Edition has more premium ingredients (like coconut sugar, green tea extract, etc.) it’s a bit more expensive, so I understand if you prefer to stick with the regular Huel Powder. I’ll pass along the suggestion to explore the use of a different sweetener in the white edition!
