I like 3.0. What I don’t like are the v2 Flavor Boosts. 
Mint Chocolate used to be so good. Not so much anymore.
I have only used black, and I do not have any clumping issues to speak of. In fact, it takes much less shaking then I expected. I’m really digging the product !
