Day ONE of my Huel journey

Hi everyone. Today is the first day I’m starting on drinking Huel twice a day with 1 home cooked meal either for lunch or dinner. Frankly I’m terrible at blogging and never was one to follow through but I feel like I need to do this to get some positive vibes and support from the community. I’ve always been cautious with what I ate and tried to stay active as much as I can but after having kids and becoming a working full-time mom I lost the drive to take care of myself and I’ve been basically eating what I can get my hands on. To make things worse I’m in the healthcare field and cannot get a decent 15-20 minute break to eat in peace so most of the time I’m either skipping meals with red bull or eating super fast. I found out about Huel from an instagram post and thought it would fit my lifestyle perfectly and I’m super excited to start my journey!

So here’s some basics I would like to share. I took full-length photo of myself which I will use as my “before” photo. I’ll be taking the same photo every month at the same spot to visualize my progress. I’m a little self-cautious to post but I will post after the 1 month mark. Number wise- I’m a little afraid to go on the scale but the last time i checked a couple of weeks ago I was at 152lb. I’m a 5’5" 35 year old female.

I have a bag of chocolate and vanilla which I’m planning to blend with frozen bananas and berries. The chocolate is not too bad so I’m off to a good start!

You can do it! While I’ve only been moderately good about controlling my food intake until lately, I’ve still managed to drop 13 pounds over the last few months, and if I can do it, anyone can!

First off, great job deciding to make a change! That’s the hardest part. If you ever need and support or advice just ask and anyone here that knows will help you. I’m on week 3 of huel now and my weight has been dropping too. I really wish you the best as well as everyone else on this journey!
