Cheers to the new subscription management system

It was so clunky before with deliveries and products bifurcated.
So happy you made the effort to redesign it. At first look through it seems much more streamlined. LOVE that it clearly itemizes products, costs, discounts, etc… of the subscription. That’s excellent.
Thank you for continuing to improve the online experience.

YES! Love to hear this, glad you’re a fan

We’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to make sure you guys get a fantastic experience when managing your subscription, so I love this feedback!

@Mark_Huel I echo @Jeffro sentiments, but I would ask that you restore the indicators that let us know things like whether an item contains gluten, caffeine, or spicy ingredients. You still have these on the public pages, but now I have to refer to those in a separate tab while updating my selections. Easy to do on my desktop, but I imagine it would be a pain on my phone. This is a step backwards in my opinion. You might think that we’ve memorized what each item contains, but I would urge you to give us a little less credit.

In addition to these quick classifications being restored to the subscription editor, it would be nice if we could click on an item to show a modal that would contain all the particulars about the item (e.g., nutrition facts, allergens, spiciness, etc.). My cursor shows each item title as a link, but clicking on them does nothing.

On another note, why do you folks keep lowering the maximum renewal frequency? First you dropped it down to 12, then 10, and now 8. For those of us who are concerned about our environmental impact, fewer deliveries is the goal. Now that there doesn’t appear to be a volume discount the more you buy, the decision to reduce the number of options for renewal makes even less sense. You’ve also made it only even numbers, which means there is no way to order your original line of meals without either running out early or having too much on hand.

Lastly, since we’re talking about recent changes, I’m not thrilled about the single serving bags for the Hot & Spicy line, either, but I will accept that change if it is the only way for you to fix the portioning mistakes in that line. That was becoming very irritating.

Hey there,

Following up for Mark, here!

I’m sorry that it’s become harder to view allergens and other sensitive ingredients when editing your subscription–I’ll pass along this feedback! Odd that clicking on the item doesn’t take you anywhere! When you click on the photo of the product after clicking “Add Items”, it should take you to a product page with the nutrition & ingredients, spice level, and gluten-free status:

Appreciate your feedback here! The maximum renewal frequency for a first-time order is 8 weeks, but it goes up to 10 in the account area itself. The checkout area is a really important area, and there’s a lot of work and research that goes into the optimal number of steps/clicks that creates a really simple and seamless journey for the customer. Each option we give provides more things for the customer to think about, so in the checkout, we try and reduce the number of options as much as possible.

The good news is that with an active subscription, you can cancel and restart whenever you want, and you can change the renewal date for your next 3 deliveries.

Sorry to hear you’re not a fan of the single-serving pouches! What do you not enjoy about them?

Yes, unfortunately, this was the best way we found to improve the consistency of each portion. In the multi-serve pouches, larger pieces of pasta and smaller powder particles naturally separate, which can result in portions that are either heavy on pasta or heavy on sauce. No matter how thoroughly the pouch is mixed, this separation can cause nutritional inaccuracies and an inconsistent taste and texture experience.
