4,400 (k)Calories in a 12-can cooler

It’s been a minute since I’ve revisited the community here, but after… Gosh, almost four years, I’m still incorporating Huel into my diet plans and keeping my A1C between 5.7-6.2%!

Professionally, work has been taking me exclusively to destinations outside the USA, which is preventing me from taking fresher food options with me to work. Generally speaking, meats and fresh vegetables can become an international customs hassle and can often lead to having to throw food out upon entering a country.

So now, I’m trying to incorporate the Hot & Savory packets with me. Not only are they shelf-stable so I don’t need to worry about keeping my 12-can cooler cold, but they’re individually packaged. While I’m not fond of having additional waste to throw away because of packets, it can make things simpler in customs as the packets are labeled with a “Made in USA” label and Huel is a registered trademark.

I won’t be exclusively eating Huel as work feeds me during my work shifts and I’m free to roam around to find good local food and drink wherever I go. However, this means that should I not want to spend money, or should I be in a situation where a food option that works for my diabetes management is not available, I have a healthy choice at the ready.

One concern I have though is the reusable Hot & Savory Pot and the Shaker Bottle takes up quite a bit of empty space in my TravelPro FlightCrew 5 Large Crew Cooler. It’d be nice to find alternatives that can give me room for any treats or things I decide to get during my overseas stays. I’m thinking of getting this collapsible travel mug for the instant meals and for coffee, and maybe finding something similar for the shaker bottle. However I do worry about keeping it clean though. If y’all have suggestions for collapsible containers, let me know!

Welcome back!!!

I love the organisation in this pack, like it’s all set out beautifully!

Buzzing, you’ve been with us so long now, the collapsable cup looks like it could work but I’d probably give it a few tests before rolling with it just to make sure you’re getting things right
