Whats with the Gas

I have now tried 4 different flavors. BLACK AND WHITE editions. Whats with the toxic gas that comes out of me. I had to stop drinking the shakes cause my office mates were practically dying. Any one else with this problem? Does it eventually ease up?

Could you confirm if you have any food allergies or intolerances? And how many servings you’ve been having per day?

Introducing Huel into your diet is similar to any other time you incorporate a new food as a staple in your routine. During this transition, people may experience things like a bit of bloating or changes in bowel habits as your body adjusts to new ingredients (and with most of our products, lots of fiber!).

If we’re going to be precise, we recommend that when you start consuming Huel, you first try Huel as one of your snacks or meals (like breakfast), and see how you like it. If tolerated and enjoyed, feel free to increase your intake gradually to however best suits your needs.

While it’s possible to consume only Huel, it’s not something we actively recommend, as dietary variety is important for dietary intake. Most Hueligans like to consume Huel for 1-2 meals per day, in combination with snacks and other traditional foods.

It’s also important to note that while we know fiber can help keep things moving through the gut, being dehydrated can actually cause the opposite effect. We recommend consuming plenty of water to help the fiber ‘do its thing’ in the gut.
