New CyberTruck ad

Been a long time on/off daily Huel user that stopped for a bit due to lifestyle changes. (Used to break my 16hr fast with a serving of huel black).
Was just about to start back up when I saw the Huel CyberTruck advertisement and it really broke my heart. :frowning:
Ruined the integrity of the company in my opinion. I get wanting to be techy and futuristic, but that was not the company to associate yourself with. Really dropped the ball there, and Iā€™ll be researching alternatives, and unless Huel does something to distance itself from such a horrible company i doubt I will patron them anytime soon
Doubt the brand will care much about one manā€™s opinion, or that theyā€™ll even allow this post to stay up, just wanted to express my disappointment.
Thoughts, opinions? Am i over reacting??

Peace :v:

I saw it posted on social media. Didnā€™t know it was an official ad at the time. (The caption that went along with it was ā€œmost divorced car everā€ ).

I wonā€™t go so far as to stop using Huel. idk, would you expect every company to also cancel their twitter [sic] accounts? I do get your point, and also agree itā€™s not a great brand alignment, but itā€™s not a direct endorsement of the supervillain that owns those companies.

Yes, just like Iā€™d expect them to avoid advertising on Truth Social or Gab. Some already have.

Iā€™m doubly concerned by the fact that the marketing team responded to the many complaints about the ad with variations of ā€œOh, sorry, but itā€™s just marketing!ā€

As someone who just passed the 1000 Meal milestone for Huel, this lack of awareness of your customer base is really making me consider going somewhere else. If it were just ā€œCyberTrucks are a dumb ideaā€ that would be one thing, nobody would care. But when the head of the company who produces them is such a horrible, HORRIBLE person, itā€™s a really bad look.
