Huel Recipies? (Drinks only please)

I’m really struggling to find anything I like. I have 2 bags of vanilla to go through at work for the next 7 weeks.

I need recipes that are good, and preferably not make me nauseous half way through like my current experience… Perhaps I need to try U/U with more savory drinks?

Suggestions please!!!

I blend all mine. So these suggestions will require a blender.

Best overall vanilla for me is:

  • 50% oat or almond or soy milk / 50% water for my liquid]
  • 2 scoops Vanilla Huel
  • half or whole banana
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (or 1 tablespoon of PB2 powder)
  • Pumpkin pie spice sprinkled on top (cinnamon is a substitute)

Easy formulation:

  • half milk / half water
  • frozen or fresh blueberries and or strawberries, as many as you want

I have also found that blending raw cashews and applesauce into vanilla Huel a good option.

Blend ahead the night before and store refrigerated. This helps with the formulation. Also, I have found that I prefer my final product more diluted than concentrated.

Hi,

I would like to direct you to two good databases:

https://huel.com/blogs/recipes (huel’s own)

and

https://latestfuels.com/huel-huel-recipes/ (my own small compilation).

Now, taking some of the recipes from there:

5. (Simple) Maple Cinnamon Hack- credit to Huel

Ingredients :

  • 500ml of water (Milk for a thicker shake).
  • 3 scoops of Vanilla Huel (Chocolate or Coffee are also really good).
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon.

Method : Mix all in the shaker. For a better mixing of the maple syrup, warm up a bit of milk, mix the maple syrup in the milk and add the Huel there.

10. (Simple) Banana and Ginger Huel Hack

Ingredients :

  • 2 scoops of Huel Vanilla (300kcal).
  • 375ml of water (you could also add milk for more milkshake-like Huel).
  • A banana.
  • Grated ginger (fresh).

15. (Simple) Peanut Butter Applesauce Huel Shake.

Ingredients :

  • 500 – 600 ml water.
  • 3 scoops Vanilla Huel.
  • 1 full tablespoon of publix natural peanut butter (or your preferred peanut butter brand).
  • 2 big tablespoons of plain applesauce.
  • Cinnamon.

But I agree with @Deron. Easiest hacks are frozen fruits, banana, berries, etc; or some good old peanut butter, maple syrup or something sweet; or milk. Different types of milk change the flavor by a surprising amount

My favorite has been adding hazelnut coffee creamer to it. Usually I can deal depending on how I made it, but when I’m just having a hard time with it, creamer is a lifesaver. It adds calories, but I usually do (approximately) the listed serving amount of creamer and it’s perfect. I just got the unsweetened to do some savory stuff with though, and I think the new vanilla is much better than the old one!
