I LOVE HUEL! Normal Huel made with water and Huel is good.
To upgrade my daily Huel meal:
Every morning I have my blender ready to go.
I have frozen or not frozen, Blueberries, Strawberries, Mango, Kale and will use one at a time to mix it up. Banana, Peanutbutter…
Whole Foods has these great Sambazon Organic Pure Unsweetened Acai Purée Superfood Packs in the frozen section. I’ll throw one in which is delicious and very healthy.
I normally use water and sometimes I’ll use half water half almond milk.
The blender is the best because you can make larger shakes and keep the top of the blender in the refrigerator and snack on the rest during the day or night.
And there are never any clumps of Huel.
If I’m partying (Bocephus Mode) I’ll make a shake with Kaluha, ice cream, and Chocolate Huel
Oh Yeah! that’s right I said it. That’s how we roll in the Suburbs.
If you have any tips that you use to improve Huel Experience please share them with us.
Ahh thanks so much for starting such an awesome thread, @Givemefuelgivemefire I just might have to give that Kaluha, ice cream, and Chocolate Huel recipe a go myself!
Excited to read what other Hueligans have to share!
I tried the chocolate Huel with orange oil recipe and thought it was pretty good. I overdid it, though. It would only take a drop or two to make it taste like one of those chocolate oranges that you smash apart.
What I’m drinking right now, actually, is chocolate Huel with unsweetened/unsalted almond butter. Even without plant milk, it’s almost like a milkshake.
Probably my favorite so far is vanilla Huel with frozen cherries. I’m trying to cut back on carbs (I only use Huel Black), so I don’t do this one too much, but it’s pretty delicious.
What I’m struggling with now is how to make Huel more savory. It’s rough because Black only comes in vanilla and chocolate. Is there a way to make it taste more like a green drink? I’ve also wondered about maybe using avocado and a little hot sauce, but it doesn’t seem like it would be good with a vanilla or chocolate base.
Is there a way to make it taste more like a green drink?
Yes, At times I like to experiment and even if my creative recipe doesn’t test great I still drink it out of principal. (I never waste my precious Huel)
Frozen Spinach with Almond milk is an easy green drink.
Regarding your question, try experimenting with whatever you normally make then add some greens to them and if good add more the next time. You may be surprised that some of the mixtures may taste better than expected even with vanilla or chocolate.
Luckily, Huel is so good you don’t need to add anything and I’m still satisfied.
Huel is such a good idea and I’m sure it will only become more popular in the future.
(Entering dream state)
Until I have my own chef making me healthy meals from my organic farm in my beautiful new lake house. I have Huel Black which is keeping me healthy and sustained.

Oh, I’m back at work … OK wow, that was a nice daydream. Now if I can only Manifest it.
Gotta listen to “Thnk and Grow Rich” again it has so many great ideas.
As mentioned, I only use Huel Black so there is no unsweetened/unflavored version. Have you tried these with vanilla Huel Black? The idea of vanilla spinach doesn’t sound very appetizing. Would you describe it as “savory”?
Hi!
Everytime I see a post like this, my mind is blown. My bag says it’s the 1.0 version and even my Vitamix doesn’t always break up the chunks. Or, rather, it does, but once I pour it in a cup, the powdery bits reassemble! I keep wondering if I got a bad batch because the taste is like something is leaking from an attic. A banana and strawberry helped, but then there’s the added carbs.
Anyhow, I’m glad you enjoy yours!
