Hey everyone,
I’m really frustrated with how my return with Huel has been handled, and I was hoping someone here might have advice or has been in a similar situation.
I ordered a batch of Huel’s Hot & Savory meals but was really disappointed with the taste and consistency. My girlfriend and I both tried them, and they just didn’t sit well with us. Since Huel has a 30-day money-back guarantee, I reached out to start a return, and at first, everything seemed fine.
Customer support was responsive at first, and I provided all the details they asked for:
- Batch number
- Expiration date
- Confirmation of unopened packets
- Total count of meals I was returning
They processed a partial refund of $115 right away, and I assumed the rest would follow once I shipped the return. However, when I asked for confirmation on the remaining refund amount, things started getting messy.
I originally paid $371.84, but after back-and-forth emails, I was told I’d only be getting $239.69 back—$132 less than what I paid. When I questioned it, I suddenly stopped getting responses.
I’ve been super polite and patient throughout this process, and I even asked to speak to a supervisor to resolve things fairly, but now I’m getting ghosted. I know people who have received full refunds for similar situations, so this inconsistency is really frustrating.
At this point, I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to escalate things publicly, but I feel like I’m out of options. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you get a resolution?
Would appreciate any advice!
TL;DR: Ordered Huel, didn’t like it, followed all return steps, and am now getting ghosted after only receiving a partial refund. Looking for advice!
