Been drinking Huel for almost a week now but can’t help but notice that I’ve been having a crash consistently. It’s not as intense as a sugar crash I’d say but I do feel a bit drowsy after 20 minutes of consuming Huel that lasts for about an hour.
I usually do 3 scoops of Huel and sometimes add Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard whey protein to the mix for breakfast and dinner.
Does anyone else feel the same way? I love Huel, its formula and how much time I save with it but I’m not sure if this crash is something I could deal with everyday.
You’re kinda describing the usual mild fatigue that many people feel after consuming a significant meal of any consistency. Body reroutes some more blood and resources into digestion, reducing blood to other areas of the body. Isn’t this just “the itis” ?
We haven’t heard much of this claim before–hard to tell with individual body types. Maybe skip the whey–Huel has so much protein in it already. Be sure that you’re hydrated as well!
