I recently decided to try Huel after receiving advice from a dietitian that I needed to up the protein in my diet, so I bought a bunch of the Black Edition RTDs. I just tried it for the first time this afternoon (Strawberry & Banana) and I’m so incredibly disappointed by the taste. It tastes extremely saccharine and very thick and chalky ☹ I was physically unable to drink even half of the bottle without feeling sick.

I have never supplemented protein before in any form, so could this just be a case of having to adjust? Or is there anything I can do to improve the taste and texture?
I bought a good few bottles so I really don’t want to throw them out.

Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂 Many thanks!
