I had the same exact experience. Just got my first box today, and I was missing both the shaker bottle and a scoop. I was looking forward to using this!

The guy that puts the scoops and shakers in the box must have called in sick that day.
I still tried it. My wife has a shaker and it looks like a scoop is about 1/4 cup. Mine was a little gritty but not terrible at all.
