Hey there,
Thanks for chasing us. I completely understand where you’re coming from, and I hear you that this is about follow-through and not about the original Consumer Reports piece.
You’re right that we previously discussed ways of making testing data easier to access and understand on-site. We did explore a few different approaches for that, but ultimately, we decided not to move forward with the specific tool we’d been looking at. Sorry for not updating you on that. I appreciate that from the outside that looks like we’ve just forgotten about it.
You’re right that companies implementing this kind of feature is not unheard of, but it’s rare enough that its implementation isn’t straightforward, and a lot of companies don’t move quite as fast as Huel. We have a wide product range that we’re constantly improving upon with new products, new flavours, new ingredient suppliers, new and improved recipes, etc., so figuring out how to provide ongoing accurate lab results in addition to up-to-date nutritional and ingredient information, product-specific features, retail info, etc. is a real challenge.
When we have updated information, we will get back to you. I know that’s probably not the concrete answer you were hoping for, and I can’t give you a timeline for additional publishing right now. But I did want to reply honestly rather than overpromise. Transparency still matters to us, and we are actively working on better ways to surface testing and certification information clearly.
