Greetings… I’m new to Huel. I started with the Black variety box and had a great experience. All of the flavors were pretty good. After two weeks trying those, I ordered two bags and started those this week. The experience got bad fast. On these bags, about 2 hours after drinking I get bad cramps, bloating. etc. Very similar experience to when I consume lactose or casein, which is why I was hoping Huel would work, using vegetable protein instead of whey or casein.

Is it possible my variety box was an older formula? I didn’t save any of packets, so no idea what the ingredients list was. I noticed on the most recent formula change that coconut milk powder was added. This ingredient is known to sometimes contain casein as a filler and can trigger intolerance. Anyone else with high lactose intolerance have issues?

Thanks.
